Welcome to St. David the King

ASSUMPTION OF THE BLESSED VIRGIN MARY                                          MONDAY, AUGUST 15

Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 pm

Parish Offices will be closed

Because the Assumption falls on a Monday this year,                                it is not a Holy Day of Obligation.

 Prayer for Peace in Ukraine

O God of peace and justice,
we pray for the people of Ukraine.
We offer these prayers through your Son,
Jesus Christ our Lord.
That you would hold and protect them.
Above all, we pray for all your children at risk and in fear,
For wisdom, discernment, and compassion
to guide their decisions.
We pray for those with power over war or peace,
That your Spirit of comfort would draw near to them.
We pray for all those who fear for tomorrow,
We pray for peace and the laying down of weapons.

Amen.

Immaculate Queen of Peace, pray for us.
